I’ve had the privilege of working with Nalli (she/her) of Blossom & Bliss for a number of elopements and vow renewals. Check out the events that we’ve worked on together: Anna and Ben’s Fire Station One Elopement in Downtown Roanoke; Nalli and Rob’s Carvin’s Cove Elopement in Roanoke, Virginia; and Hannah and Taylor’s Star Trek-Inspired Moss Arts Center Elopement. Fun fact: Nalli and I are both in the Roanoke Wedding Network, which is a community of Southwest Virginia’s finest wedding professionals. A couple on their elopement day sit on a cement ledge and wrap their arms around one another as they smile for a photo outside of the Moss Arts Center on Virginia Tech's campus. The person on the right places a wedding bouquet in her lap while the other person just leaves their hand on his leg. A clear circular table with silver legs is decorated with unique floral arrangements made by florists in Roanoke. On top of the table is two three-tired trays with tons of snacks, two champagne flutes, a bottle of non-alcoholic cider, and a teapot. Behind the glass table are two tall chairs. This table set up is located inside of the Moss Arts Center. A partner helps his significant other into a rowboat adorned with flowers along the coast of Carvin's Cove on their elopement day while holding his significant other's bouquet. Mark’s fresh floral arrangements, like the bouquet and pocket square below, are absolutely stunning. He’s also one of the few florists in Roanoke offering silk arrangements, perfect for couples eloping in places like the Blue Ridge Parkway or the Appalachian Trail, where live or dry flowers are not allowed. Their adventure session was a perfect blend of personal and professional, as it was an opportunity for them to showcase their farm while also celebrating their love story.

In addition to photographing the owners and their farm, I had the honor of working with them on a vow renewal for Lindsey Page and Taylor, who brought their little one, Luna, along for their intimate day together as a family. Levi and Zach made these wonderful and whimsical flower crowns for them! You can see more of this family and their day in this blog.

The parents are each holding onto one of the child's stuffed animals in their hands. A family of three huddles together and smiles outside of their home. The trio are adorned with flower crowns. A couple holds hands and stands next to one another for a photo at Fishburn Park after their vow renewal ceremony. The pair stands in the shallow creek barefoot and smiles for a photo together. Even though flowers don’t start blooming in this area until April, Liza was still able to provide amazing dried flowers for this stunning couple’s late March elopement. The adjustable dried flower crowns, delicate flower and foraged goodies rings, and large dried floral bouquet really added a special and unique touch to Courtney and Nadine’s Duck Pond Elopement at Virginia Tech.
